In July 1985, Pilton Church organised a Flower Festival on the theme of ‘Healing’. This programme, including a map of the route to be followed in the church, took the visitor through the different aspects of Christianity and Healing. The festival was divided into four sections:
Section A: The Need for Healing
Section B: In Praise of Healing
Section C: The Healing of Jesus
Section D: The Church as a Healing Community
The flower arrangements were undertaken by friends and parishioners of Pilton Church.
